Here's a fun and easy D.I.Y. for your own bow tie necklaces!
Materials
- Chain
- Jump Rings
- Closures
- 4"x1 1/2" Felt (fabric of your choice)
- 2"x1/2" Felt (fabric of your choice)
- F-6000 Glue
- Store Bought Necklaces
Tools
- Scissors
- Pliers
Directions
- Measure the amount of chain you want for your necklace and use the pliers to separate the chains. Open a jump ring with your pliers and attach it to one end of your necklace.
- Do this for the other side, and add a closure. Set aside.
- Take your larger piece of felt (this will be your base of the bow) and fold over one side to the center, glue the top of the edge.
- Fold down the opposite side on top of the glued edge.
- Flip the base of the bow over - make sure the glued end is on the back side. Scrunch the center of base so there is almost an accordion fold horizontally on the bow.
- Take your smaller piece of felt and wrap it around the front of your base, where your scrunch is.
- Take your necklace and place the center of it in between the fold.
- Last, fold over the ends of your smaller piece of felt and glue down the edges.

Happy D.I.Y. Friday

Mia Chica
